# SMS Opt-in process for employees

 Opt-in Flow

### Employee Opt-In

During employee on-boarding, managers, executives and all winery employees what are assigned to hosting tasting visitors will have the option to opt-in to receiving SMS messages for guest information summaries. Those who opt-in will be enabled in our administrative tool and immediately receive a confirmation SMS where they can immediately opt-out. This selection is maintained in the Mitrova staff database and used to determine if notifications should be sent for that staff member.

### Employee Opt-Out

When the employee's on-boarding  opt-in status is first entered into the Mitrova administrative tool, the employee will receive an immediate notification at which time they can opt-out. Additionally all SMS subscribers can opt-out by replying to any previous notification with the word "STOP" as the message. Lastly, the employee can email [opt-out@mitrova.com](mailto:opt-out@mitrova.com) from their official company email in order to disable SMS for their account.
